Tree reflections

Silver birches like water nymphs, reflected in a lake. A naturally impressionistic view of trees reflected in a lake, with the ghostly trunks offset by the flame colour of dogwoods.

"On a cold, blustery winter’s day, the tree reflections standing out in the water when the sun came out, were reminiscent of a Monet painting. The texture from the rippling water, plus the strong background colours, created a natural canvas for the sprite-like trees."
