Romantic plants

"This purple and white snake’s head fritillary (Fritillaria meleagris) bloomed in my garden last spring. I took this photograph as the flower’s delicate petals glowed in the sunlight. Gardening is my hobby and I spend a lot of time in mine. This allows me to observe and try to capture the countless variations of light, shadow, colour and mood."
